We certainly heard a lot of that over the last week!! As the chicks got older, they became braver (they wouldn't huddle up with the other chicks quite so much) ...and noisier!! At the chick centre, the children have enjoyed watching them grow and change over the course of the week. More chick photos: After One Week: One week after our first egg hatched we started to notice some changes. Do you notice the changes? Yes, their fluffy chick feathers have started to be replaced by their adult feathers. We said "good-bye" to our chicks on Tuesday. Mrs. Mount, one of our school Certified Education Assistants, made us little chick cupcakes for the chicks' send-off. After school I delivered our feathery friends to "Farmer Rachael" who then took them back to her farm. At the Farm Farmer Rachael sent a couple of photos of our chicks at her farm in Chase. She said the chicks are doing well and getting bigger. It's exciting to know that they are happy at their new home!
