This is what the incubator looked like this morning when I got to work! We have had amazing success with our chicks! So far, all but 4 of our eggs have hatched and they are very healthy looking chicks. Today we got to watch another chick hatch. It's very exciting! We have now moved them out of the incubator and into the 'brooder' where they will stay warm under the light, drink water, eat food, and peck. They will peck anything and everything!! Many other classes in the school have enjoyed coming to see our little feathered friends. We will be sending them back to the farm on Monday after school. Feel free to come and take a peak. Enjoy the photos. We got to watch another one hatch. It was very exciting!
