We learned a new math game this week called Build A City. The children play it with a partner so they are learning great social skills, such as sharing, taking turns, and how to be a gracious winner and loser. We always shake hands with our partner at the end and thank them for playing. We are also practicing important math skills as well. They are learning to instantly recognize (and not have to count each time) the die every time they roll for their turn, they are practicing counting, as well as comparing at the end of the game. Ask your child how to play.
